Garage Door Replacement

Dented, damaged or worn-out doors replaced, with opener options to match.

When a door has been patched one time too many

Some doors are worth saving and some are not. A bottom panel creased inward by a bumper, sections rusted through at the edges, a seal that has curled away from the slab: each one can be fixed, and each one tells you how the rest of the door is aging. When the repairs start to pile up, a new door is the sounder choice.

We look at the door with you before anyone says the word replace. Call (309) 357-3907 and a Tri-County Door Doctor representative will set up a free estimate, then tell you honestly whether a repair gets you another few years or a new door is the better use of the money.

A wide selection of styles, matched to the house

A replacement door is the biggest single surface facing the street, so the panel design, color and window lites deserve a real conversation. We offer a wide selection of styles, from plain raised panels to carriage-style doors with glass, and we use brands such as Hormann and Linear in our services.

Opener solutions come up at the same visit. A new door changes the weight the opener has to lift, and an older opener may not suit it, so we check that the two work as a pair. Choosing them together means one install day and a door that runs quietly from the first morning.

Old door out, new door balanced, floor swept

The same crew handles the job from start to finish. We release the spring tension and take the old door out, check the opening and jambs, set the new sections on the track, wind the springs to the new door's weight and balance it by hand before any opener goes back on. Then we clean up and haul away what we removed.

We serve Peoria, East Peoria, Dunlap, Pekin, Washington, Metamora and Germantown Hills, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and weekends by appointment. Warranties are available, so ask what covers the door and the work when you call for your free estimate, and we will go through it together.
